“We create pop music as a self-contained songwriter and producer team with a “mash it up” attitude – we try to blur the lines of genres while maintaining cutting edge trends in production.  Our philosophy is to start with basic guitar and vocal parts, and if the song is strong, we build it up from there.” 

The 3LR songwriting and production team of EJ CBN and Ro “Han Solo” has always been true to their musical influences and draw from them for inspiration, whether it is Hard Rock, Reggae, World, Jazz, Blues or R&B.

While their roots come from performing in local bands in the NYC club circuit for the past 10 years and becoming incomparable on their respective instruments, the team decided to ditch the performance scene to focus on writing and producing full-time because in their eyes the one thing that truly matters is the art of the song.  Their cutting edge production and songwriting style has always ended up sounding unique while always relevant and “radio ready”. This sound has led to ever increasing attention to this dynamic duo from northern New Jersey.  EJ & Ro have collectively written and produced for numerous international artists (including Ashley Dupre, Noush Skaugen, and Jill Stevenson), as well as TV soundtracks (Bravo, MTV Network, PBS) and independent films (including Tribeca Film Festival award winner – Sita Sings the Blues).
